Pecorino Cheese with San Gimignano D.O.P Saffron
Made with fresh pasteurised sheep’s milk, natural rennet, selected milk enzymes and Volterra salt.
The curd is added with choice San Gimignano D.O.P saffron threads that lend the cheese a delicate flavour and the unmistakable scent of saffron. It is fresh and soft, with a typical golden yellow colour.
Pairings: Excellent alone at room temperature for an aperitif, or accompanied with acacia honey.
